Advantages of paving stone:
- Eco-paving stone: Tested water permeability when installed correctly
- Accessible: Due to the high stability of the paving stones, they can be easily driven on by car. They can also withstand occasional delivery traffic.
- Slip-safe: The high static friction value of the stones ensures a high level of slip resistance.
- Depth protection: The depth protection ensures that the natural look of the stone is preserved. It also protects against the ingress of moisture.
- Slide-proof: The molded double cams can reduce the movement of the stones in the reduced area. The paving stones from EHL therefore offer a high level of protection against shifting.
- With micro bevel: The small width of the joints, which is created by the use of micro bevel, ensures that running and driving noises are reduced. Furthermore, it protects the edges of the paving stones from chipping.
- Robustness and longevity of concrete: Thanks to the high-quality workmanship made of concrete, the stone has a high level of strength and is both frost and de-icing salt resistant.
Prepare and lay paving stones: The attached video on this page shows all the steps for laying the paving stones.
In the following steps The stones can be laid:
- Stable subsoil is required for stable support
- Lay the gravel base layer made of frost protection material - (pay attention to a gradient of at least 2.5%)
- Lay the gravel bed: Distribute the gravel - then smooth it out
- Paving stones Laying: Laying is carried out from the edge, so there is no need to walk on the chipping surface - this ensures clean work.
- Sweeping up joint material: To do this, normal joint sand is brushed in with a broom.
- Shaking down: Finally, shake it off several times with a vibrating plate including a rubber mat.
Installation instructions:
- Remove all excess joint material before shaking off.
- The plaster should be approx. 1 cm higher than the curb in order to achieve the desired height when shaking off later.
Care instructions: Regular cleaning with a broom, water and neutral soap is recommended. This way you can ensure the longevity of the stones.
