Advantages of facing stone:
- Easy processing: Thanks to the material properties, the tile is easy to process. This applies to both cutting and laying.
- Easy care: The dirt-repellent glaze makes the wall tiles very easy to clean. They are therefore well protected from stains.
- Area of use: Wall tiles can also be easily used in the kitchen or living area thanks to the glaze on the surface.
- Red body: Due to the raw materials used in production, the tile body is red. This is the back of the tiles.
Edge processing:
- Pressed: The tile is pressed into shape during production. This creates a slightly angled edge. This type of edge processing is particularly suitable for laying with larger joints. The reason for this is that the edges are not as sharp as is the case with rectified edge processing. It is therefore recommended to work with joint crosses when laying.
Surface treatment:
- Glazed: The glaze serves as a protective layer for the tiles. This makes them resistant to dirt, stains and acids. The glaze is particularly suitable for tiles on walls in living areas. If tiles are to be laid in the bathroom or kitchen, a glaze is absolutely necessary as it also protects the tiles from water.
