The Akupur convoluted foam is a foam that has been processed using special knives in the egg carton cut. It has a sound-insulating effect and is therefore also called acoustic foam. Due to the very large surface area created by the knobbed structure, a significant noise reduction is guaranteed. The convoluted foam is also suitable for the safe packaging of fragile items, as the broken surface structure holds them in place without pressing. The foam panel can be cut to size and is available as a single panel.

Notes: Foam can change its color slightly when exposed to light. This is a characteristic of the material and does not represent an impairment of quality. A solvent-free spray adhesive is recommended for bonding foam panels. Apply the adhesive in strips at a spray distance of 25-30 cm and allow a short flash-off time.
