The Homematic IP garage door button HmIP-WGC can make controlling your garage door even more convenient. Replace the conventional garage door button with the smart solution from Homematic IP. Now you can easily control your garage door using an app or a Homematic IP remote control.
Make garage door control smart
Open, close or stop your garage door smartly in conjunction with a garage door drive. Connect the button directly to all common door drives using the integrated switching contact.
Versatile operating options
Control the garage door directly on site using the large button, on the go using the smartphone app or from the car using a remote control. Use the large, robust button to raise or lower the device directly on site and even stop it while driving. With individually configurable garage door groups in the app, you can e.g. For example, you can use several remote controls for a garage door.
Flexible power supply
The button can be flexibly adapted to the local conditions using the different power supply options. Whether the button is supplied with voltage with batteries, a plug-in power supply unit or directly via the garage door drive can be decided depending on the general conditions.
Easy and quick installation
Thanks to the cable feedthrough on the back and the robust screw terminals, the garage door button can be easily connected to the button input of the drive. The cable entry can be from above, below or behind as required. Using the dowels and screws included in delivery, installation is quick and easy.
How it works:
A connection to one of the following solutions is required for operation: Either you use the separately available Homematic IP access point, which offers you a free smartphone app and a free cloud service, or you choose the CCU2 or CCU3 central unit, which can be controlled via the local WebUI user interface. Alternatively, partner solutions from third-party providers are also available to you to flexibly integrate the system into your smart home environment.
