The Malibu Bypass Set is used for targeted control of the water flow outside the pool and is particularly useful when using pool heaters (heat pumps or solar heaters).

These are usually used in the water circuit outside the pool, behind the filter system, so that they heat the filtered water when necessary can. Here, the water flow can now be controlled using the bypass set, depending on the water temperature.

• The water temperature is OK and an additional heating system is not required. In this case, which usually occurs in midsummer, the pool heater can be shut off from the water circuit.
• The water temperature is significantly too low and the water should flow completely through the pool heaters. In this case, the bypass set could be used to shut off the direct backflow into the pool, so that the water can only flow to the pool heater and only then back into the pool.
• The water temperature should only be raised slightly. In this case, the lever is placed in a middle position so that only part of the water flows to the pool heater and is heated there. The other part is pumped back into the pool without heating.

In addition to the regulator, the set also includes a T-piece, sealing tape, a hose clamp and adapter pieces. The adapter pieces make this set suitable for swimming pool hoses with a diameter of 32 or 38 mm.
