The Lechuza Pon is suitable for all plants (including orchids and citrus plants) and is used as an alternative to conventional soil. The planting substrate consists of high-quality mineral rocks that are free of impurities and pollutants and have a reduced fine content due to multiple sieving. The root area is optimally supplied and your plant has an optimal air-water ratio (45% water - 55% air). This makes it less susceptible to disease and the Pon does not need to be replaced even after years due to its structural stability. This creates an even and compact root distribution, and the zeolite it contains ensures a permanently optimal pH value that ensures good plant growth. The granules can be filled with a dirt-free shovel into the Lechuza planters that are ideal for this purpose. The root balls of the plant do not have to be completely removed from the soil, which makes repotting easier. The substrate acts like a buffer that absorbs excess fertilizer and releases it to the plant when needed. Even large plants can find a firm hold here thanks to the adjusted bulk density. The purely mineral plant substrate inhibits root-damaging fungi, permanently binds heavy metals and pollutants, e.g. from irrigation water, is odor-binding and therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers.
