The Profi Depot wall paint Gigant White MIX PD 6900 is the professional, easy-to-use emulsion paint for professional home and tradesmen. Giant White is ideal for new and renovation coatings in interior areas where emphasis is placed on a water vapor permeable and scouring-resistant wall and ceiling surface.
Due to the very long open time, it is also ideal suitable for use in critical lighting conditions (grazing light). Giant white reduces the risk of later visible color spots, which are particularly noticeable when the light falls at an angle (=grazing light).

Processing instructions
Always stir well before use. When spraying, follow the machine manufacturer's instructions. Pre-paint corners and edges with a brush or a small paint roller. Remove used painter's tape immediately after painting while the paint is still wet. On highly contrasting and absorbent substrates, a prime coat of Gigantweiss PD 9900 diluted 5% with water is recommended. In the case of intense colors, several coats may be necessary for an evenly covering surface appearance.
Bridging hairline cracks on plasterboard: Full-surface reinforcement with, for example, smooth fleece wall coverings based on cellulose and glass fiber achieves a hairline crack-bridging coating on, for example, plasterboard, gypsum fiber boards or similar.
Fillering rough surfaces: Rough surfaces should be leveled out with a filler before the actual painting work.
Gypsum board discoloration: Discoloration of untreated plasterboard can be prevented by an additional barrier coating (e.g. with Profi Depot PD insulating paint Isodeckweiß PD 7900). A sample coat of paint over several panel widths, including joints and filler areas, is recommended for assessment.
Higher cleanability of the surface: If a high degree of cleanability of the painted surface is required (for example to remove dirt with a damp sponge), an emulsion paint with wet abrasion resistance class 1 and medium gloss or higher is recommended (product example: Profi Depot PD Latex Paint Latex White PD 8900).
Assessment of highly absorbent gypsum plasters: If gypsum plasters are highly absorbent, insufficient solidification may occur. Check the adhesion of the coating structure using the adhesive tape tear test.
Sealant compatibility: If sealants such as acrylic are coated, cracks or discoloration may occur due to increased elasticity. This may require a test coat to assess the result.
Recognizability of repairs: Depending on the object, repairs may be visible on the surface.
Thin coating on smooth surfaces: In order to achieve very poorly structured surfaces on smooth surfaces, a very thin layer may be required. If necessary, the paint can be diluted with a maximum of 5% water. If necessary, additional coats of paint may be necessary.
Drying time
After around six hours, the rooms can be used again or the wall and ceiling surfaces can be painted over again. Temperatures lower than +20 °C and/or humidity higher than 65% r. F. extend the drying accordingly.
