The Seramis plant granules for houseplants can absorb, store and release large amounts of water. The small, fine-pored clay grains absorb the water like a sponge. The roots of the plant grow into the fine-pored surface of the clay grains and are thus supplied with water, nutrients and vital oxygen as needed. The plant granules are light and do not age or compact. This ensures that a loose, well-ventilated structure is maintained. The plant granules also prevent fungus gnat infestation.
