Steel wall pools are the most popular pool system for use in your own garden. They impress with a very good price-performance ratio and offer many years of water fun.
A steel wall pool usually consists of quite a few different parts. In addition to the steel wall and the pool liner, you also need a guide rail on the lower and upper part of the steel wall and the pool is complete.
The steel wall, in conjunction with the guide rails, ensures a high level of stability. Depending on the pool size, craftsmanship and the number and skills of the helpers, a steel wall pool can be built in 1 - 2 days.
Although a steel wall pool is not nearly as decorative as wooden or WPC pools due to its steel outer wall, steel wall pools are still very widespread.
The main reason for this is, as already mentioned, the good price-performance ratio and the simple construction. But the uncomplicated care of the steel pool also makes the material very popular. Depending on how dirty it is, all you need to clean the outside wall is a sponge or brush and a mild soapy solution. In addition, different exterior colors are often available for a steel wall pool. In addition to white, gray or anthracite are often offered. Many steel wall pools can also be completely or partially built into the ground so that the pool and the turf or terrace are on the same level.
Despite a mostly galvanized steel wall, however, it should not be forgotten that steel should be checked occasionally for possible corrosion.
The round steel wall pool Splash from myPool has a capacity of 10,000 l. Thanks to its size of Ø 360 x 110 cm, it is a guarantee for water fun and cooling off in your own garden.
In addition to the 0.35 mm thick, gray steel outer wall, the scope of delivery includes:
Note: This steel wall pool model is only suitable for freestanding construction.
Similar to wooden or WPC pools, steel wall pools are intended for long-term use and usually have a large capacity. Therefore, the installation site must be very stable and load-bearing. Ideally, the pool should therefore be built on a concrete foundation. This distributes the load evenly across the floor, does not give in irregularly and thus offers the pool a secure footing. As with other types of pools, the surface must be absolutely flat and free of stones, roots or other sharp objects before construction. In any case, the manufacturer's assembly instructions should always be followed, as the structure can always vary slightly depending on the manufacturer.
The care is similar to that of other pools. The water quality should be checked regularly, the water should be cleaned of coarse and fine dirt particles and the pool should be covered with a tarpaulin when not in use. The pool should be cleaned with special cleaning agents; mild soapy water is sufficient to clean the outside of the steel wall.
Before winterization, some of the water should be drained and the hoses, pump, heating system, etc. dismantled and stored away from frost. The remaining water remains in the pool so that there is no damage to the pool and liner.
So nothing stands in the way of long-term pool fun in your own garden.
