The radiator valve insert is intended for installation in the valve housings of 6-fold radiators. The heating valve regulates the flow of heating water into the radiator. The flow rate determines the ratio of heated water to the already cooled return water in the radiator. Ultimately it is used to set the room temperature. With the help of the thermostat head, the valve insert is actuated and the temperature is set.

Temperature levels

1. Level: Room temperature is at 12°C
2. Level: Room temperature is at 16°C
3. Level: Room temperature is at 20°C
4. Level: Room temperature is at 24°C
5. Level: Room temperature is at 28°C

Since the flow and return are located at the bottom in this type of installation, this valve insert is used to ensure optimal regulation. The valve insert can be preset to adapt to the hydraulic requirements of the heating system. The presettable thermostatic valve ensures the optimal flow resistance for every radiator. This ensures that the right amount of water that is needed flows through. The valve insert has a connection thread of ½″. The maximum operating temperature is 120 °C.
