The tree post is made from pine wood and pressure treated for durability. It gives freshly planted trees and tall trunks the support they need. This makes it easier for the new tree to get used to the new location and to grow roots into the garden soil. To make it easier to drive into the ground, the tree post was sharpened on one side.
