The Stabilit sisal rope is named after the port city of the same name. It has three shafts and is therefore particularly robust and durable. The sisal rope comes from the approximately 1.5 m high sisal agave. The flesh of the harvested leaves is pressed off and what remains are the supple fibers that make up the sisal rope. The fibers have high dimensional stability and are very abrasion-resistant. They are spun into yarn and have good weather resistance. Because it is a natural fiber, the rope is ecologically degradable.
